Friday, 16 November 2007
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Nov. 16, 2007 - POPS -- In a televised address to the nation last night, Dominican Republic (DR) President Leonel Fernandez presented his long-awaited energy saving measures. Fernandez explained that constant fuel price increases over the last three years have been caused by increases in international oil prices. Whiskey & Gunpowder
September 24, 2007

As a loyal Whiskey & Gunpowder reader and personal friend of Byron King, I must say that not only do I subscribe to the Peak Oil theory, I am experiencing it first hand. As I write this, I am only a few short minutes from the border of Russia at my home in Estonia. Yes, Estonia, the small Baltic country with the big heart and the taxes to match it.
